    Welcome to Our Wine Store

Bovin Vinery is the first private owned winery in Macedonia . The company was established in 1998, the year when 120,000 bottles of high quality white and red wines were produced. It is these wines which Bovin was represented by on 1999 Agro-Expo Fair in Skopje where "Venus" earned in the champion title in the category of red wines, whereas all the other Bovin wines were awarded golden medals.
Bovin winery achieved its highest success at the "Food And Wine" fair 2000 in Copenhagen - Denmark, where the wine "Pinot Noir" was proclaimed absolute winner in competition of more then 650 types of wines from France, Italy, Spain, S.Africa, California, Chile and others.
Bovin was present at "Chardonnay Du Munde" (Chardonnay of the World) in France in 2003 and 2004 and won bronze medals in world competition of 1200 producers of Chardonnay. This sucess is a great motivation for us to improve the quality of all of our wines.

   


Cabernet Sauvignon
The Cabernet Sauvignon from BOVIN is a quality red wine with a strong rubin color. The color is deep purple/red with a purple edge. This is a highly aromatic wine with herbal tones. Its nose is fruity with scents of blackberry and tones of cherries.
It is served on room temperature accompanied by strong meat, pork cutlets and smoked meets. When served with meat dishes, full sauces with little to no fat can accompany the main dish. The Cabernet Sauvignon from BOVIN is excellent to combine with piquant and hard cheeses.

Merlot
The Merlot from BOVIN is a dry red wine with a strong intense color. The color is intense purple, which shows of the young and deep character of the wine. The nose is excellent with tones of cherries, berries roses and plumbs. Its taste is powerful, full, rich and with a fair amount of tannin.
Its fruity aroma, which reminds of raspberry and blackberry, is in great harmony with the taste of green vegetables. It is served at room temperature with strong pork meat, veal and smoked meat.

Pinot Noir
The BOVIN Pinot Noir is a quality dry red wine produced from the same grape variety. It fascinates with its excellent aroma. The color is intense red. The scents remind us of red berries, strawberry's with a touch of earth tones and violets. The taste is dry, soft and fruity and consists of a fair amount of tannin, which gives its strong character.
It is served at room temperature with lamb, veal and smoked meat. The wines excellent qualities come to life when the dishes are accompanied with light sauces and fresh spices and fresh spices and is always excellent with wild meat. It is impressive when combining with lighter cheeses.

Aleksandar
Alexandar is a quality dry red wine from BOVIN. It is a cuvee from the Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Vranec varieties . Its color is intense purple. The nose is full of red fruit, berries and has high scent intensity.
It has a wonderful aroma complex with a round, rich and full taste. Its herbal fruity tones make this wine unforgetable. It is served at room temperature with strong meat, roasted pork, veal and smoked meat.

Venus
The Venus from BOVIN is quality dry red wine. It is a cuvee from the Vranec and Merlot variety of grapes. Its color is intense red/purple. The nose is excellent with tones of full red fruit and berries.
It has got a wonderful aroma and very balanced long lasting taste, which is subtle, round, full and fresh. It is served at room temperature with roasted pork, veal cutlet, smoked meat and spicy cheeses. When served with meat dishes, the sauces must be with little or no fat.

Vranec
Vranec is one of the most unique wines from Macedonia. The Vranec from BOVIN is a quality dry red wine with a very strong and intense purple/rubin color. The nose has full red fruit, berries and has high scent intensity.
Vranec is a very harmonic wine with strong body and typical aroma. The taste is subtle, round and full. There are a lot of jam tones with a fresh taste. It is served at room temperature with strong meat, roasted perk, veal cutlet and smoked meat. Can be combined with certain old cheeses.

Dissan
Vranec special is one of the most unique wines from Macedonia. The Vranec special from BOVIN is a quality dry red wine with a very strong and intense purple/rubin color. The nose has full red fruit, berries and has nigh scent intensity.
Vranec special is a very harmonic wine with strong body and typical aroma. The taste is subtle, round and full. There are a lot of jam tones with a fresh taste. It is served at room temperature with strong meat, roasted pork, veal cutlet and smoked meat. Can be combined with certain old cheeses.

  Premier
It is a semi sweet wine with not completely fermented sugars ( glucose, fructose ), 13.0%vol. alcohol and 30 gr/lit. dry extract. It originates of the sort Cabernet Sauvignon. It is a late harvest with 28% average contents of sugar. The vineyards cover an area of 5 hectares with no possibility of irrigation. The grapes during the period of vegetation were not protected not once (totally ecological) and only 12.000 kg were harvested out of 5 hectares, and 5000 liters wine with termination of the fermentation obtained. The wine has a very strong color (fait amount of antocianes, polyphenols, proantocianidoles, resferaroles and other antioxidants). The aroma reminds of raisins, grape honey, propolis and the taste of nectar. The taste lasts very long in the mouth. It is Consumed on a temperature of 15-17°C. We recommend it as a breakfast and also as a dessert with not too sweet cookies. It is a real elixir of life.

Chardonnay
The Chardonnay from BOVIN is a quality dry white wine, with a strong south fruit aroma. The color of the wine is pale yellow. It's harmonious, light and easy wine. It has magnificent array of scents starting from butter and toast to vanilla and wooden tones.
The taste is subtle, round, full and fat. It is an excellent companion with white cheese, fish, seafood, and bird's meat. It can accompany a cold buffet, salads and cold meat dishes. Also can be served with fish and meat dishes with light sauces. We advise you to serve this wine at temperature between 8-10°C.

Sauvignon Blanc
The Sauvignon from BOVIN is a quality dry white wine, with strong fruity and herbal aromas. The wines color is waterish yellow with an obvious green edge. The wine has an excellent nose with tones of green apples, fruit and grass. The taste reminds you of fresh tones and apples.
This excellent wine is best served with bird's meat, fish, and seafood and especially with cheese. The meat dishes should not be served with rich fat sauces. Fish should be always accompanied by a shot of squeezed lemon and fresh spices. This will bring out the best characteristics of the Sauvignon. The wine should be served at temperature between 8-10°C.

Simphony
Symphony is a quality dry white wine from BOVIN. It is a cuvee from the Riesling and Sauvignon variety of grapes. Its color is full and green yellow. It's scents remind of fruity and wooden tones.
This is very harmonious, light and subtle wine. It is served at a temperature between 8-10°C accompanying spicy cheeses, white meat, seafood and granular products. Can be served together with fish and meat dishes with light sauces.

Muscat Frontignan
The vineyards are on altitude of 680 m., in the clearings of the mountain Kozuf, with Nort-West exposition. It is a completely ecological terrain with no need of chemical protection. Complex and its buke are very sophisticated, containing no polyphenols. The aroma is very attractive gentle and reminds of many fruit fragrances. The taste is long lasting, balanced with a feeling of elder and apple juice. The contents of 10-12 gr/lit. of residual sugars completes the very smooth taste. As it is a semi-dry wine we recommend it for a dessert with dry cookies, but well cooled on a temperature of 6-8°C and it is suitable as an aperitif with sea-fruits and well ripen cheese.

Rajnski Rizling
The Rajnski Rizling is a quality dry white wine, with a distinguishable fruity aroma. This is typical for the variety itself and has a special distinctive green edge. It has an excellent nose, which is fresh and fruity mixed with scent of flowers.
The wine has distinguishable subtle acids. The taste is dry and fresh with peach tones. We advise you to serve this wine at a temperature between 8-10°C with light meat, fish and seafood.

Hermes
The Hermes from BOVIN is a quality semy dry rose wine, with a strong south fruit aroma. It's harmonious, light and easy wine. It has magnificent array of scents starting from butter and toast to vanilla and wooden tones.
The taste is subtle, round, full and fat. It is an excellent companion with white cheese, fish, seafood, and bird's meat. It can accompany a cold buffet, salads and cold meat dishes.
